Rose Williams - Archaeological Illustrator


I am currently working on my Master's degree in Anthropology at California State University, Chico. I earned my BA in Archaeology at SUNY Cortland. I have had a passion for archaeology, human osteology and art from a young age. I am interested in studying paleopathology, especially infectious diseases, disorders of growth and development, and dental diseases to better identify these defects in osteological assemblages from archaeological deposits.I am also a trained artist, and create drawings of any osteological specimens that catch my interest. Over the next several years, I intend to earn both a Masters degree and Doctorate in Bioarchaeology.
